Above: This video was created in 2006 to promote the North Dakota Envirothon, and still gives the viewer a great idea of what the Envirothon is all about!  If you have 15 minutes to spare, please watch and enjoy.

The North Dakota Envirothon is a hands-on, problem-solving environmental education program open to high school students throughout the state.  The goal of the ND Envirothon is to promote a desire to learn more about North Dakota's natural environment and to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to apply the basic principles and practices of resource management and ecology to complex environmental issues.
